Let’s do get in “whataboutism” aka consistency aka non hypocrisy.
What about the USA now with Venezuela or if they invade Greenland? During their decade long occupation of Iraq?
What is your excuse for that? The US is also the next biggest offender in Olympics doping after Russia.
I agree. Ban Russia, ban USA, ban Israel. From the Olympics that is, not the European wrestling thingy, kinda hard to ban USA from that.
The olympic games are meant to be a celebration of peace and warmongers don’t deserve a shot at the international prestige that olympic gold medals bring. They may be irrelevant to diplomacy and war, but they’re important to public perception. Sportswashing is a thing for a reason.
The issue is that Poland said they were not going to grant visas for Russian athletes to the competition.
Just checked, and the Olympics are not being held in Poland, so Poland can’t deny a visa for American athletes attending the olympics. That would be Italy.
I am amused by you playing dumb to avoid answering the question. It’s not about a specific event.
Do you think Italy (hosts) or IOC (organizers) should deny participation to US athletes due to USA’s invasion of Venezuela? Do you think China back in 2008 (or again the IOC) should have refused USA’s athletes due to the USA’s occupation of Iraq?

The USA isn’t part of the EWF. The E stands for European
Is invading a country only an issue at European competitions? Not the Olympics?
