    Is invading a country only an issue at European competitions? Not the Olympics?

      The issue is that Poland said they were not going to grant visas for Russian athletes to the competition.

      Just checked, and the Olympics are not being held in Poland, so Poland can’t deny a visa for American athletes attending the olympics. That would be Italy.

        I am amused by you playing dumb to avoid answering the question. It’s not about a specific event.

        Do you think Italy (hosts) or IOC (organizers) should deny participation to US athletes due to USA’s invasion of Venezuela? Do you think China back in 2008 (or again the IOC) should have refused USA’s athletes due to the USA’s occupation of Iraq?

        If not why not?
