Fifty-five Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from 19 EU member states have signed a letter to the President of the European Council, António Costa, urging the “immediate opening” of accession negotiations with the Republic of Moldova. They are definitely cooking something up. Like a new 4th layer. And the idea is iirc, that the 26 members form a new legal unity in which majority vote and stuff is possible. Hungary & Co will then be outmanouvered.
