there are very very few contexts where 1 year is considered anywhere close to imminent. Climate change, for example.
But This isn’t one of those situations. We don’t need to act now or they will die in 1 year. Taking action is as simple as removing roadblocks, takes less than 1 day. I am convinced this whole crisis can be averted within 1 week.
Or am I saying that you’re using the wrong words and giving a wrong picture of the situation?
Because I think you’re trying to put words in my mouth to make me look bad.
You do realize that behaviour like this discredits the whole pro-peace movement, right? You’re throwing away trust which is especially bad since the situation is already so bad it doesn’t need to be lied about.
The next time you post something about the conflict, people aren’t going to say “oh that’s bad”, they’re going to say “oh, that guy’s a known liar, I don’t think he tells the truth”.
Or am I saying that the Situation is already bad enough and we shouldn’t lie about it? That that will only sabotage the whole peace movement by destroying its credibility? Which isn’t necessary since, again, what Israel is doing is already bad enough.
Seriously, stop trying to put words into my mouth please. I don’t like what Israel is doing and you don’t like what Israel is doing. But misleading about it only makes the whole thing worse.

So calling it imminent is just wrong
So you’re saying these babies can stay a few more weeks without food, no big deal?
Seriously think before you speak
Am I saying that?

Typical denialist. When faced with the implications of what he’s saying, he’s hiding behind plausible deniability and victim blaming.
It doesn’t matter how imminently the babies are gonna die, scumbag. Withdrawing food shipment is warcrime. Period.
Quit playing semantic games.
you’re doing it again.
Am I saying that it isn’t a warcrime?

It wasn’t or isn’t ‘genocide,’ because …" They may enter definitional or rhetorical argumentation.
You know what’s really wrong? Starving civilians
