Americans seem completely fine with mocking and insulting Russians, Israelis and others, but when someone mocks Americans, all of a sudden it’s inappropriate to make fun of the general population for their government’s actions.
American here, I’ve never agreed with mocking the population for the actions of the government. But sure generalise hundreds of millions of people, anything to avoid thinking about your hatefulness and it eating your soul bit by bit.
