EDIT: example: It would contrast with a power supply that does have such a cord, like this:

What are “wall warts”?
DC power supplies where the device is a “brick” that plugs directly into the AC outlet without a cord between the outlet and the “brick”.
EDIT: example:
It would contrast with a power supply that does have such a cord, like this:
Amazing I really hope these all just become USB-C
Hope they make shavers etc also change with USB-C
I have 3 shavers, all of them use a different special cable -_-
These normally are the devices that provide USB-C (from wall power).
