You can also get like 400 a season without a battle pass. So if you played for a few seasons, you could get the battle pass for free as well. Then sometimes there’s extra events and bonus v bucks you can earn and stuff. They figured out a long time ago they can make more money for the long term by staying the most popular, and the most popular means keep giving some shit away so it doesn’t get old for the people who don’t spend much, if any money. If they go away, then the people who do spend $$$ will end up moving on as well.
