    Unless the EU offers reach global scale, they will always need subsidies. This requires that taxes have to be spent that could be used otherwise. So the EU will start to decline in other areas, too.

      I think you misunderstand. These policies can only ensure that European companies have a competitive advantage on our own market. That’s the first step. Everything else beyond that is pure speculation at this point.

        What gives you the confidence that it will lead to somewhere? I think the US has already prepared for step two.

          I think the US has already prepared for step two.

          And I think the US will have its hand full dealing with China. Now is the best opportunity we’ll have.

              I don’t have to be elected. Those that are in power need to understand that this is the way to go.
