    Well, my grandfather on my mothers side was an SA man, rolled with the things life put in his way, brought his family good through the war and into the post war period. Grandfather on my dad’s side was a soldier, spend some time at the end of the war in captivity, but also turned out OK.

    The lesson learned: Its better to roll with the things to come instead of fighting what is inevitable

      Dafuq? Nothing inevitable about fascism. Also, you’re example is worse than being a surrender monkey, it’s being actively involved in the crimes of the regime.
