User: Add enough detergent for this weight of clothes.
Washing machine AI: OK, I have added the correct amount for you, ready to start the wash.
User: You only added fabric softener, I need you to add detergent. Please weigh the clothes and add the detergent based on that weight.
Washing machine AI: Ah, I see what you mean. I have now weighed the clothes and added the needed amount of detergent.
User: you just added more fabric softener. Do not add any more of that, I only need detergent. Please, add detergent.
Washing machine AI: I’m sorry, I misunderstood you before. I have now made sure to add detergent.
User: you added more fabric softener…

From the little I’ve seen (or more had to be exposed to) they are 100% convinced that Lemmy is like 10 people and nothing else exists. They’re so walled in, much of those walls being built by themselves.
On a vaguely related note, reddit has been so deeply shit now for long enough where it has stopped being a good source of info. It used to be such a good place to find just about any info via a search but now the results are just so fucking weird. Trying to find stuff about new-ish games, tech support, recommendations for anything etc. has become so much harder now.
This is what happens in your brain when you tell yourself to remember something.

Why are there two “piss myself” and one “shit myself” comments…?
Now do American mass shooting rate and Linux market share.

Only issue I often come across here in Sweden is that different companies use “veggie” differently. Some use it only for vegan products, others use it for vegetarian products and it’s not always clear which is which without reading the ingredients list. I’ve accidentally bought stuff with milk, cheese and eggs in them many times because it wasn’t clearly written anywhere and it’s easy to miss stuff when you’re at the store and reading the (often long) ingredient list of several things while in a hurry. It happens even more often with family and friends who aren’t vegan and buy stuff they usually don’t when they make food for you. In those cases I still eat the food, just point out the non-vegan ingredient(s) the product has and ask them to just look at the ingredients list when buying and/or even calling me so I can help them.

As clearly shown in this thread. Sooo many deeply stupid comments. The vast majority agreeing with this change, general anti-vegan idiocy, and trolls. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a comment section for something even remotely related to veganism without shitty and dumb people like that, it’s like they sit and scour the whole Internet with every minute of their time, ready to jump in and act like children who got their lollipop stolen. They’re pathetic people.

Not familiar with the host, but he looks like if Alton Brown and James Corden had a baby.

It’s definitely not only that.
I and, from what I’ve seen discussed here and elsewhere online, many other people have stopped watching the channel because of many valid reasons completely unrelated to AI.
I haven’t watched a single one of their videos for years, something changed in their content and I just lost interest. Then there have been several controversial events throughout the years, both objective bad stuff and subjective things that made many loose interest and faith in their integrity.
They definitely became one of the many channels that lost it’s way because of how big it got. The animations became too “perfect” in a weird way, they lost their personality and they also got scared of having real opinions so they started doing this “all sides” shit and that’s when I tapped out.
I’ve tried to watch new videos from them about once every 6 months or so, but I can’t even make it past a minute without completely loosing interest.
No one. Let it do the work, it’s needed.
Which you forgot to do here.
The alien looks like Donald Trump.
Well, we now know it’s actually bone panic juice. They were close with the naming, but not all the way there.
I’ve had that issue in several ways. Of course what you said, had an extension cord with a switch below my desk and I kept accidentally hitting that switch in the same way, lived in an apartment some years ago that had some shitty electrical work done by the previous tenant and if I had enough lamps on while my computer and screen where on and I tried to plug in my phone or turn the TV on the circuit popped, and most recently I’ve been playing games via cloud streaming (Shadow) and my Ethernet cable has lost the security tab thingy on both ends and I keep accidentally moving other cables so they touch the Ethernet cable and it falls out. Most of the time I can just put it back in an reconnect to the cloud computer but sometimes it just refuses to do that so the cloud computer shuts down before I’m able to get it working. Lost several hours of progress in various games throughout the past couple of years, but I never buy anything new unless it’s absolutely needed so I just live with and accept it '^^
