I didn’t mention that in the op, but Indiana Jones was running like shit on 1080 low settings. The fucking game forces DLSS. This is where gaming heading, forced DLSS and forced garbage so we are forced to buy expensive shit

I think it’s the other way around, thousands of machines are tailored for windows. Don’t manufacturers create their own drivers for windows all the time?
TIL. Nothing will ever surprise me in life anymore. 😂
I have a steam deck and a onexplayer that runs windows. I never touch the other one. Windows is painful. I genuinely can’t even enjoy the game I’m playing. Too bad this machine sucks on any Linux distro I’ve tried, even bazzite. So, it’s just sitting there doing nothing now
Still no spanning wallpapers. lol.
Dualboot and check what software they use. If you can get away with only Linux then you’re good. I personally always have a copy of windows available on a separate SSD in case I need it. Sometimes I take months on end without booting into it.

Wow, so now I don’t have to bug them on Discord and just Google things? That’s pretty useful.
Absolutely. Good luck to you.
Use pika backup instead of timeshift. Pika is an actual backup tool that puts your files on any drive you tell it to use (including remote). Timeshift is a snapshots tool, it reverts things to a previous state, it doesn’t backup actual files and folders.
Ah, I see. I got those at work, too. We have a whole team at work that is working on training a local llm on our whole company’s database for that purpose specifically, and I’m so excited for that. Looking up documentations sometimes could you take hours. Imagine an llm looking it up.
Sorry you had to go through that. Unpopular take to so many: AI is really good at detecting bugs if you don’t feel like hunting for an obscure bug all day. Just tell it to not change a thing and only find the bug.
Wow, how long did that take to find?
God damn. This gave me anxiety.
This made me chuckle 😂
