Android Auto and Apple carplay do not run visually on your phone screen, they are a connection to a compatible built in screen or a stand alone for older cars that don’t have them. I have the G Stylus 2024 and it has been a great phone. Moto’s update policy is the main hindrance, with screen brightness a close second.
