Not a fan of “fort” if you’re not going to go with Castle then you should least stick with the theme and call it Abbey or Monastery or something.

I feel like this isn’t really anarchy enough. Not just because a church hierarchy isn’t anarchic, but also because it’s a nice, cute, reasonable idea.

Wait is this a reference to something? Don’t often see art portraying hijabis.

    Edit:

Just kidding I realized her hair shows in the first two pieces. I just got excited for a second. Still, love the design and wondering if there’s a reference I’m missing.

Ironlily, the artist, does a series of drawings based on a fictional Medieval religious order of women who practice the arts of war. Why? Because cute, that’s damn well why!

The headwear is historically Medieval and Christian

Yes thank you! I did realize after seeing the hair that the headwear was more Christian/nun-like. Still, it’s rare to see art of women dressed modestly/not sexualized; I’ll check more of this out, who is the artist?

Wow, I totally read your previous comment as starting with the word “ironically” and not ironlily (multiple times). Thank you
