With big dogs they consequences of not training them are too severe for people to completely ignore it, but with small dogs they just sort of end up as neurotic wrecks and people seem to think that’s… cute??

eh, if you take on the responsibility of owning a dog training them well is really a big part of that responsibility, if you want a dog that needs minimal training just get a golden retriever.

It just seems like a pain to train dogs to wear them. Besides, our dogs usually don’t want to go anywhere when it’s that hot.
My mini goldendoodle is a medium sized dog, but she uses her big girl voice when people are nearby. She’s not even aggressive or trying to be threatening, she just barks like she’s twice the size she is. She picked up the behavior from my parents’ anxious great shepherd. I’m trying to get her to stop, but it’s been hard.
