Why do Americans give Santa cookies and milk? He’s not 5 years old. Leave him a glass of water, and a couple of ibuprofen. He’s not feeling great after every child in Britain left him a mince pie and an alcoholic beverage.

The list of vegan crimes keeps mounting:

    1. This poster is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen.
    2. Vegans will lie to your face about how good oat milk is. (You made my coffee taste like porridge, you bastards!)

Vegans are annoying but oat milk is delicious you simple carrot stick. Like many ingredients they are not completely interchangeable.

      Poster is awful though

Nope, I saw plenty of bad art before AI became a thing and this is 100% handmade. Not 100% original though, as the lines were clearly traced. You can actually tell the person who made it is fairly inexperienced in art because they used the airbrush for every single shadow and highlight, so being this anatomically correct on the lines would not be consistent if they weren’t tracing.

Nobody has any frame of reference for AI, they don’t even know what old school digital art looked like apparently. It’s just anything that isn’t perfect or intentionally ugly must be AI.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an AI pillow shade.

Something about it does seem a little off, like they missed a line when they traced the hand so it looks like his finger is broken, but I don’t think it was AI…?

It looks like a composite. Like they did the main image with AI then touched up some areas or something. It really gives off the slop vibe but not fully.

There’s a scene in the novel The Orphanmasters Son where the main character jerks off male cows to get enough calories to survive a North Korean camp. It broke my suspension of disbelief, tbh.

lol. In this new vegan-Santa era, are there no more enslaved reindeer? Have all of the cookies been replaced with vegan options? His suit is most definitely real fur. Judging by the gut, the man loves a juicy ribeye, smothered in butter and onions, daily.

You make a good point, I was just pining about past experiences, but some semantics about the “One Rule”:

Rule: You must post before you leave.

        Other rules

        Behavior rules:

        • No bigotry (transphobia, racism, etc…)
        • No genocide denial
        • No support for authoritarian behaviour (incl. Tankies)
        • No namecalling
        • Accounts from lemmygrad.ml, threads.net, or hexbear.net are held to higher standards
        • Other things seen as cleary bad

        Posting rules:

        • No AI generated content (DALL-E etc…)
        • No advertisements
        • No gore / violence
        • Mutual aid posts are not allowed

NSFW: NSFW content is permitted but it must be tagged and have content warnings. Anything that doesn’t adhere to this will be removed. Content warnings should be added like: [penis], [explicit description of sex]. Non-sexualized breasts of any gender are not considered inappropriate and therefore do not need to be blurred/tagged.

PETA might reduce animal cruelty, by killing more than 90% of the animals they can get their hands on every year.

It’s not 90% and it’s higher than others because PETA takes in all animals, unconditionally.

If they acted the same as everyone else you would have more animals suffering. Euthanasia isn’t great, but it’s the better alternative to leaving a near death animal on the side of the road to bleed out because no shelter will take them on.

At least in 2006-2007 it was 97% of companion animals, and we only know this because the courts asked for these internal documents:

Death toll up to 17,400; overdue report describes PETA’s deadliest year ever

WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ – An official report from People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), submitted nine months after a Virginia government agency’s deadline, shows that the animal rights group put to death more than 97 percent of the dogs, cats, and other pets it took in for adoption in 2006. During that year, the well-known animal rights group managed to find adoptive homes for just 12 pets. The nonprofit Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) is calling on PETA to either end its hypocritical angel-of-death program, or stop its senseless condemnation of Americans who believe it’s perfectly ethical to use animals for food, clothing, and critical medical research.

Not counting animals PETA held only temporarily in its spay-neuter program, the organization took in 3,061 “companion animals” in 2006, of which it killed 2,981. According to Virginia’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), the average euthanasia rate for humane societies in the state was just 34.7 percent in 2006. PETA killed 97.4 percent of the animals it took in. The organization filed its 2006 report this month, nine months after the VDACS deadline of March 31, 2007.

That also does not include the animals that PETA handed off to other shelters which may have also been euthanized.
