This is the result of an already years long lawsuit. Google can’t drag it for long, in fact initially they were given only 2 weeks after the decision to implement this but like I said they’ve settled with Epic to make these changes from Android 17 onwards

So they can’t drag for long yet they can drag it however long they need as long as enough money exchanged? 😺
