Why do we need registered AppStores? We already have appstores like the one by Amazon, Samsung, etc. I’m not craving more Google sanctioned appstores I crave MRE google not sanctioned appstores where I can install the apps from which Google does not approve of.
This is due to the Epic lawsuit, the app store will be treated as an actual “app store” rather than a standard app which will have its own advantages
In fact any registered app store will basically have an almost play store like experience I suppose rather than having the standard extra resistance provided when you install an app currently
I feel like this is part of the reason for limiting sideloading to regestered developers.
No this is Google trying to avoid an anti trust lawsuit as they remove sideloading.
