Marxists want a collectivized and planned economy directed in a cooperative manner to meet the needs of all of society. Fascists want extreme striation, often appealing to ethnic supremacy and “might makes right” mentality, all as justification for bourgeois rule. These are not the same in any way.
As for “authoritarianism,” all states are authoritarian, what matters is which class controls the authority and which is oppressed. Marxists want the working class in charge of that authority, while fascists want the bourgeoisie in charge. Until the state withers away upon full collectivization of production, and as such until class is abolished, it is best for the working class to have that control.
