I remember watching a guy complete frostpunk on extreme difficulty without ever turning on the generator.
I’d say I don’t believe it, but I’ve seen someone beat dark souls with a guitar, so who am I to question the lengths people will go through to be able to say “git gud”
Uhhh…wat. It was not a hard game, but that’s bonkers
I think I know exactly which video they watched. It was about how they got up the tower in Thwomp’s Fortress in Super Mario 64 without jumping.
This reminds me of people playing Portal without using portals
It’s a self imposed rule so I guess they could just mark down the record with the “skips” added as caveat. If one day someone figures out a way to do it without the skips they can claim the new and improved record.
In the SM64 A-press challenge boards, we just sort the leaderboards by A presses first and time second.
So if a level requires 1 press you can still get a place on the leaderboard, but if someone finds a way to do it in 0 presses, they’ll be placed at the top even if they were slower.
But how many half jumps does it take to clear?
