Agreed. I was doing pretty well the first 2 months or so, but I crashed into a bit of a delayed depressive episode over it all the last month. I’ll get sick of my own moping and wrangle myself again soon.

I’ve been unemployed for the last few months. I’m single, no kids. I’ve had more of these 24 hrs of uninterrupted free time than I’d care for. Honestly, sounds wild, but I hate it now.
If you’re asking for more information on it, using an app like CPU-Z would probably yield the most precise hardware info.
Hey! Congrats on getting everything installed and situated so far.
I don’t necessarily agree with your previous message, but I do agree it’s a bit unfair to include the identity of the person who was misgendered in this post. It isn’t even a guarantee that they were the person who took serious issue with what OP said. They may not have even reported OP. So it seems unfair to call them out, even if the intent was to provide context.
You are still free to create 100 different accounts on 100 different instances, just not the one where you broke the rules.
Technically OP is free to create another account on that same instance.
I thought it was an emoji of a piece of saltwater taffy.
If you continue to have trouble but still want a Debian experience, might I recommend MX Linux. I cut my teeth on that for a long time, and it was a really great experience for me. And the installer is super easy to navigate.
I wholeheartedly disagree. But I will say that maybe a mid-weight flavor of Debian would be better.
Maybe WinAmp was the llama all along.
We must return to IRC.
Haha, thanks.
The current state of the repo still requires quite a bit of manual finagling, but I’ve tried to make everything as clean cut and modular as possible.
The plan has always been once the configurations mature, to then create scripts that automate the process of not only installing expected packages, but also allow for limited theming.
I’ve not quite gotten to that phase, but it is quickly approaching.
What perceived slight from a Linux distro community could possibly convince some loser to DDOS them?
Petting kitties.
Back in the 90s when PC GAMER magazine would include demo CDs, there were a handful of games I liked enough to go buy the full game.
Android: I keep Graphene updated always. Apps maybe once a month.
Linux: I have my environment set up to alert me when new package versions are released, so I’m always up to date. Well, as up to date as stable repos and any manually added sources go.
Windows: I have a Win 10 rig solely for gaming. I stay updated on drivers and games, pretty much weekly.
