I used to moderate and answer questions on SO, but stopped because at some point you see the 500th question about how to use some javascript function.

Of course I flagged them all as duplicate and linked them to an extensive answer about the specific function, explaining all aspects and edge cases, because I don’t think there need to be 500 similatlr answers (who’s going to maintain them?)

But yeah, sorry that I didn’t fix YOUR code sample, and you had to actually do your homework by yourself.

I never understood that… I’ve found thousands of answers on SO, asked 3 questions I didn’t find an answer to, and answered maybe 50 questions myself.

Most of the time people are just too lazy to search for themselves, or unable to abstract a problem.

Einfach wieder Mauern um die Innenstädte bauen, die kann man dann ganzjährig nutzen, und in 200-300 Jahren haben die Leute wenigstens was schönes zu besichtigen.

Glückwunsch! Ich habe das ganze auch schon einmal 2021 machen dürfen, und war leider nicht ganz so gut vorbereitet. Ich habe die ganze Zeit nur Musik gehört und gelesen, aber ich war froh über meine Kopfhörer mit Geräuschunterdrückung, weil es dort wirklich brummt wie Sau.

Wenn ich nochmal dort wäre, würde ich vielleicht 6 Folgen “The Pitt” mitnehmen, da ist man gleich im richtigen Setting und fühlt sich relativ besser.

In my opinion it’s equity. So while you might say “if everybody pays 2%, that’s fair!” I’d argue that if you have 100.000€ you should pay a far smaller percentage in taxes, than somebody having 100.000.000€. Because we consider that the basic needs for everybody will be around the same amount, that means that if the poor pay the same percentage of taxes as the rich, they will have enough to cover the basic needs (in the best case), but their ability to afford luxury will be reduced.

At the same time, if you tax the poor 1% while taxing the rich 60%, the poor will have a far better life, while the rich will probably not even feel the difference, beside some numbers going down in a banking app.

Ok, if you limit it to yachts and private jets, I ould see it only hit the super rich, but then again, why not both? Why limit ourselves to one way of getting the wealthy contribute their share to society?

Consumption taxes always hit poorer people proportionally more than rich people. Because even non super rich people buy, let’s say jewellery, from time to time.

I agree that the tax code needs a rework, and a tax for the super rich will not resolve everything, but it’s a good start, and better than doing nothing yet again.

Honestly, I don’t click on anything in Emails. If it is important, somebody will write me in Teams/Slack, and otherwise I just acknowledge and ignore.

Seeing how many selfish and uneducated people there are, I think we’d be beat off if the majority of people doesn’t get a say, and the (communist) party just takes the decisions for the greater good of the people.
