For most people it won’t matter, they just want something that works.

It depends on the use case. For incremental changes and validation of hypotheses in an uncertain or new product Agile is great. It allows for fast valuation and fast pivoting. I would not recommend Agile for systems that are mostly known and need a big upgrade, that’s not what its for.
Agile became a buzzword and shouldn’t have been implemented as widespread as it has. It does have its use cases though.

I’ve never had an issue of this gravity on Windows. I use Linux and it has its issues as well. Stability is not why I use Linux lmao

They at least seem to care slightly more about the impact they have on the world and humans.

My thoughts exactly, I use Claude and find it much better than ChatGPT. Less hallucinations, more useful information
The most items I had on my work desktop was 1366, they were overlapping on my screen and windows+D would lag the whole computer. It was glorious.

I quit everything except whatsapp, it’s virtually impossible without actually impacting my life negatively. Been trying and some friends have started using Signal, but most people don’t.

I did some checking around on the web and it seems that the partnership is a standard API license where Perplexity provides the technical infrastructure and Truth Social makes requests to there. The AI does contradict Trump regularly according to the Washington post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2025/08/10/truth-social-trump-ai-chatbot-perplexity/
So I’m not sure if this is massively wrong. Or at least, not as bad as I thought it would be.

Goshdarnit, and I was really enjoying perplexity and its relatively low hallucinations and good sourcing of information.

Yup, there seems to be misinformation there. Even perplexity gets it wrong, but does say there’s some inconsistency between websites.
I installed MX on an old Acer tablet/laptop Hybrid. It’s one of the few that would run due to its 32bit bootloader but 64bit system. It works fine, but I wasn’t blown away either.

Your security, is the connection to the outside world safe?

What about security? How easy is it to crack?

You overestimate the adaptability of the average software stack. I worked at companies where even adding another button to the cart screen was a monumental undertaking
That does sound like a regulation problem in the capitalist hellacape that is the USA more than anything. I live in The Netherlands and evicting someone here is very difficult. A landlord needs to make his case in front of a judge and everything. There’s one reason with which they can evict a tenant with a bit more ease and that’s to use the property themselves, but they need to prove why they need it all of a sudden. And even then they need to pay the tenant roundabouts €7000 to help with the move.

Been there, done that. I also went to the Lenovo Legion Linux discord server. All great people, but their advanced solutions didn’t work either. Even people with exactly the same model didn’t have this issue. I have no idea what it could be, maybe something hardware related.

I said in my previous comment an RTX3060 and an iGPU. I tried with the iGPU, without the iGPU, switching them, hybrid mode. Nvidia drivers, nouveau drivers, it’s always the same.
I wrote a post on it some time ago: https://feddit.nl/post/34127250

Funny thing is, on my laptop there’s an issue with Linux and browsers. Any video or animation, even little animations, runs at like 3fps. This makes using a browser virtually impossible.
Everything else works well, but that just doesn’t make Linux an option for me right now. I tried a variety of browsers and distros. It’s really frustrating. It’s not even a bad laptop, Lenovo Legion 5 pro RTX3060.
Sounds like it could have more to do with the network than with the explorer itself.
Sometimes anime backgrounds are drawn a bit lazily, I wouldn’t say that immediately qualifies it as AI.
