Ideas never finish evolving, and in a grand sense nothing finishes evolving, unless you consider extinction to be the conclusion of an evolution. Nature goes on, the universe continues, there is no end point where things have reached a perfect evolution.
My parents were busy trying to control my fucked up sisters children, with my dad dumping as much responsibilty for child rearing as possible on my mom, and my mom passively aggressively resenting it. Same way me and my sister were raised. My family’s a mess.
Ilia, returning to study the carbon units. I thought that was the coolest thing when I was young.
What isn’t working? It’s a little different than the phone app, but it works for me.
I use KDE Connect as a media remote and to transfer files between my phone and computers. It has quite a few other functions, like remote mouse control, sms, seems to share clipboards as well.
A touch of narcissistic psychopathy, lack of empathy.
So, no to introspection? Wundt-ering around your own mind?
Edit: The giant Grof was hit in one eye by a stone, and that eye turned inward so that it looked into his mind, and he died of what he saw there. -Cyrin
I’m on SDF also, been having the same problem.
Just started exploring Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson is wild!
Saggy Hammerpants. My sister wore them way back, looked like diaperpants back then too.
Former alcoholic here, although I abhor the term, Ill use it for simplicity. Imo, excess drinking is a symptom of other problems. I quit because I didnt want to die like that which is the inevitable outcome. But I had to get my other problems dealt with in order to quit, because for a while, like 10 years, I don’t think I cared, so I needed my doctors help with that. Mainly, I didnt want my grandkids to remember me like that, dying of alcohol-related problems, nor did I want my spouse to die like that, bc we were drinking partners. So I had to get her to quit too, which eventually came down to alcohol or me, so she chose me.
Well, I don’t think Carrie Fisher was wearing a bra during her brief apperance in the Star Wars special, so that was something.
The Highlander sequels were pretty bad.
When I was young, I read “Call of the Wild” and “White Fang”.
Littlest Hobo was my fav show, about a dog helping people.
Paintings made by my grandkids.
It’s been a long time since I’ve watched B5, but have a few times. Curreltly watching Stargate S02E21.
I’ve tested a few browsers using Eff’s Cover Your Tracks website. The best is TOR, but Brave with no extensions is second, it said it provided a randomized fingerprint. Tried it with Firefox with uBlock and it said my comp had a unique fingerprint. Mullvad browser faired slighty better, cant recall the score, but at least it wasn’t unique. I tried it with Librewolf also with a load of extensions and it was a poor score as well. So, imo, you don’t need extensions with Brave. I think my settings are the same as yours.
I’m going to live a long time in the memories of my children and grandchildren, hopefully greatgrandchildren. Being a grandparent has been pretty rewarding.
