I was gonna say Queensland. But Tassie actually does get the most Alabama type jokes.

Thanks for reminding me there’s half in my fridge I forgot about. I don’t think it’s too late!
Actually on that, a good veg needs to last long in the fridge. Cauliflower hits that brief.
Stephen Fry’s reading of Harry Potter is just the best.
On a JK Rowling note. Her Cormoran Strike series (starting with Cuckoo’s Calling) under a different pen name is actually pretty great. It’s a modern day detective series with great personable characters. Very easy to listen to. Despite her crappy views, Rowling’s way of writing is very clean and simple so might fit your brief.
One that hasn’t been mentioned is I don’t care about cookies. Or something to that name. With it on your never see cookie setting notifications. I’m not super sure if it rejects them all or accepts them all. But it’s nice to not worry about it
Not the family. But Principal Skinner not showing Chalmers his Aurora borealis that’s situated right in his kitchen is pretty dog.
It’s trying to give him a little credit to justify messing up a purchase that large.
If the intention wasn’t to shut it down or disrupt then everything that’s happened is literally just Elon being a complete dunce. Which is definitely more likely, but scary to think someone can be that reckless with 44 billion dollars
When I type on the keyboard I often always type F at the end and immediately backspace. I don’t understand why I do it and I can’t stop doing it.
I forgot how insanely chunky the original Xbox controller was. You must have big hands to want to use it again.
In the winter months a shower every night. Sometimes I skip a night if I’m lazy or I’ve stayed home all day.
In the summer I will maybe take 2-3. One is a proper shower. The two or three are quick 20 second cold water rinse to cool myself down. Helps to have one right before bed on a hot night.
I’ve commented more here in this short time than my 10 years on reddit. I feel heard and I feel supported. Most people are civil and respectful and I really appreciate it. Thank you all.
I see it as a state of mind. Because a “well traveled” person typically have a good understanding or appreciation for culture not their own. They can see both sides and form opinion based on the world as a whole and not just the country they live in.
I think it’s why people say to go travel to broaden your horizons. It helps make you a better person.
every non work trip I’ve considered doing the same. Then the very last minute I still end up taking my laptop “in case of work emergencies”. I should spend some time in desktop mode and really get it all set up to build confidence
I would love a slightly narrower and overall smaller steam deck. It’s great at home but I think twice about bringing it when flying already with a laptop and iPad.
Exactly. It’s the same with any diversity and inclusion push at any level. It exists because the current system favours a specific group of people. If we can put down any prejudice and hire people for their work and passion and account for people with less privilege. It exist still because we still do it. But also it exist now to try and right a wrong.
A minister for men is to do what? We had our time in the sun for the entirety of human existence while pushing women down. Men are at risk of losing anything. The shit men are I hope.
Man I would love 20hrs to kill by myself. With 7 hours at the airport is leaving the airport an option? Like others have said. Read a book. Get your steps up. Try and do 10,000 steps walking the entire airport. Buy a notepad and draw the people our sights around you
If you love driving. The feeling of an open road in front of you. You shouldn’t be hoping for more roads, but less people on the road. Support people who don’t want to drive will benefit those who do.
That’s insane who in their right mind would dedicate their time to that? And what kind of dogshit company would openly allow that to happen! Glad we’re not there is all I’ll say
I heard a right wing sound bite on the radio a while back where they were saying “if you’re unsure and don’t know just vote no” Instead of informing and educating. Just put your head back in the sand. Inspiring stuff.
I can’t. Lots of people my age can. My teenage years there was only one car in the household and it’s an auto. I couldn’t afford to pay for extra lessons to learn manual with their car.
I was into cars and really wanted to get a manual car later on. But just never needed it. Auto cars are just more available so 10+ years later I still can’t drive manual and hasn’t affected my life at all
The Burritans are not a fan of people using the word outside the region.
