It’s bad - why would you bit something today of its cheaper next week? Not everyone will wait, for sure, but the affect is a significant break on the economy.

One candidate was a nazi thug, the other wasn’t. I feel.like I repeat myself so many times, but once again:
Nazis always turn up to vote. The left loves to find a reason not to. The Nazis know this and have developed a playback to win. Their plan is simple but highly effective: use a wedge issue to persuade enough left wing to just not turn up.
Also, an election this close… I’m sorry, but sitting out this one very much means you are happy to have a thug as your president.
The right have devised and extremely effective strategy: spam the Internet with an absurd amount of hit pieces against the left (and liberal!) politicians. They monitor the reaction, and as soon as one takes hold, they push it - hard.
The left have a special talent for not showing up or wasting their vote on a no hope candidate. This strategy plays straight into that weakness.
Some examples: incubators for babies during the Brexit vote, being pro-Palestine during the 2019 UK election. Being anti-Palestine during the US election. Any reason to sit it out… and let facists win.
We need to wake up and realise that sitting it out is exactly what the nazis want. They don’t expect you to vote for them. Just sitting it out is enough.
Yes, better left-wing candidates would be great - but that’s on us. Getting rid of FPTP in the UK might help. Either way, we need to wake up to this strategy and start being smarter. Grass root campaigns to get better candidates, sure, but for fucks sake, turn out and vote!
What to stop them, though? Ship it in, remove the label, export it.
I think they might be mutually exclusive right now. For example, if any US trade deal includes chlorinated chicken, the EU is not going to let chicken into the EU from the UK.
According to the article, it’s been enforced since 2017. Is there a CETA 2 or something?
Out code runs on Linux containers, so no Windows needed. Personally, I use OpenSuSE, but the containers use Alpine.
We’re looking at scaleway. They seem pretty decent so far.
Doctor of medicine, so there’s a greater than zero chance she knows exactly where to hit him. Good on her, though - people need to take a stand.
Yeah, whatever you were planning on doing, you’re doing this instead.
400% tax on coca cola!
Jack Daniels is shit, drink a glass of Scotish or Irish whisky/whiskey instead.
This would be nice, but it’s not going to help Canada that much in the stupid trade war that Trump just started for the same reason the U.K. was never going to make up for trade lost with the E.U. by forging new trade agreements with the U.S.
It was Reagan where things started going off the rails, ironically.
I use Firefox for most things, but Google Meet maxes out all my CPUs if I use Firefox. Any kind of screen sharing kills it. Suggestions on how I can get video encoding working greatly appreciated… Intel Xe graphics.
We could do this already with flatpak apps
And that worked out really well…
How the hell did they get up there?
