i think they’re worth watching just so you can see how bad they are and how much disney fumbled the bag by hiring the worst people imaginable to write/direct the garbage.
it really shines how much they finally “got it” by hiring Tony Gilroy to come in to fix/salvage Rogue One before letting him loose with Andor - arguably the greatest Star Wars ever made that’s on par with the originals.
i liked these because I could jump way way way higher than i ever could on my skateboard
just go to the park and sprint at a bench/table and grind the entire length of the thing. things were fun as all hell for awhile. this was like… god… 1997?
it got old after awhile because while doing sick ass grinds was fun as hell, that was all you could really do. went back to skateboarding pretty quick.

Night in the Woods. Start to finish. It has so many moments where you just pause and go “…shit.” It’s the most perfect game ever made.
Also FF7. White teenage boy complex with Aeris for sure, but also blowing up oil facilities, killing CEOs, and Red XIII’s story. It’s wild to me the themes that this game gets across in Discs 1-2.

i went in thinking boring bullshit teenage slasher, but i’m pretty shocked how well written the dialogue is. the movie is cookie-cutter for sure, but the dialogue is well done.
