Lol I feel the same about people mentioning Fleshgod. I know got pretty big fast, but the first time I heard of them was when they performed at the summer slaughter tour in 2011. I was there to see Black Dahlia Murder, but Fleshgod was very much the highlight of it for me.

Hell yeah, Anorexia Nervosa was one of my favorite bands for a long time. Good tunes. I grew up in a town with a comparatively big metal scene, so I was pretty blessed with a lot of metal that I would have otherwise never heard. Honestly I wasn’t too sure that anyone would recognize anything from that list outside of Neurosis or a few others. They are! Some of them even have good music (ouch, self jab). A lot of them fall squarely in the realm of non metalheads saying “this isn’t music/this is just noise”, a few of them are small scale bands, and a few of them are really iconic bands.

USB-C Gen 2.4 Strive is where it’s at. Pretty limited when it first came out, but it’s really great after all the updates, and apparently it’s getting a switch port next year.
Definitely didn’t expect them to add Lucy from Edge runners as a crossover though.

Some context for those unaware: Gawr Gura is a hololive vtuber, and this clip is how she started her first stream. Tens of thousands of viewers, and she makes her debut with 25 seconds of total silence and then a single “a”, followed by a cut to her loading screen. Very weird, and very funny.
I already own it, but I’ll have to give it another go. Been playing Against the Storm again lately and it’s fucking fantastic. I liked Timberborn, but I didn’t play it a ton. I think it was my first proper dive into city builders and I felt like there was a pretty strong learning curve coming into the genre, so I put it down and forgot about it.

Monster Hunter is a great series. Not terribly stoked about the endgame in Rise though. I think my ideal game would be something like Generations Ultimate but with the overall clunk removal that world/rise did.
More specifically, the only source the article even gives is a link to a reddit post with a screenshot of the tweet, of which doesn’t have a direct link to the tweet. This is half assed journalism at best, considering they even quoted the original screenshot wrong.
