I work on both Linux and windows machines for some software projects. It’s nice to be able to write powershell helper scripts and have it work on both.


Can you expand on that? What helps where etc. or an example.

If you stop the subscription, you don’t get upgrades. But you keep whatever the last version you had, it’s not locked out by a license check.

After weeks of debugging and a million things tried, finally fixed a bug that ended up being an off-by-one error. Had to turn < into <=. Debugging embedded devices can be hard…
edit: the chaos caused by the error was of course completely unrelated to the process, caused a full watchdog timeout
