Another day, another grift for that family.

Yeah, no way do I need another subscription in my life when there’s a suitable substitute.

You’ve done nothing to instill any confidence in me about Chinese state sponsored social media apps and only supported my original point that I trust a US state sponsored social media app LESS than one from china at this point.

There are multiple reasons for me. First and foremost is the data collection that they’ve been accused of; I know American companies do the same thing, but there’s something more nefarious about a state run data collection scheme than a public company collecting data to sell you ads, which I’m also trying to avoid as much as possible. Next, I don’t support their labor practices - using child, slave (Uyghurs) and cheaper labor is a big deterrent. I realize that some level of that is unavoidable with the way our society is based, but I don’t really need another social media outlet in my life anyway, so it’s a really easy cut for me.
Oh yeah, also because a state run social media app is something that I feel is an easy way for that state to push propaganda.

I never used it because of the Chinese government affiliation. I’d feel even less inclined to use it with maga affiliation.

I agree that the vast majority of people will not be able to distinguish one from another, but the company is the biggest streaming service and they’re behind their competitors in this aspect. They also have been promising this for years and not delivering.

We need to start saying they’re adding people who own guns as a table in that database and either get conservatives onboard with stopping it, or more likely just be able to call them hypocrites for one more thing.

It’s only socialism when democrats do it.

From the same company that brought you test based emissions upgrades?

He’s definitely not conflicted with how he’s going to handle the situation until people forget about it, but he’s got a pretty severe conflict of interest in that he’s likely a party to the criminal activity outlined in those files.

Trump is highly conflicted on the Epstein files and needs to remove himself from all influence over the case.

I thought he was going to deregulate ai; this seems like regulation to me. Add it to the pile mountain of lies.

He may have deleted it, but you know he printed it first and hung it on his refrigerator.

Yeah agreed, he’s absolutely going to demand a military response to any attacks on his business, but maybe that’s enough to divide the republicans in congress and they’ll start to rein him in. Still going to take a lot for them to develop the balls to stand up to him, but might be good for us if Iran just goes after his businesses.

Might be smart for Iran to just attack trump’s businesses as retribution for the bombings; if they attack the military, we’ll surely get pulled into another war, but just going after trump’s businesses will probably avoid a military response and maybe will make republicans come around to the fact that he should have divested himself from his businesses when he became president.

We need to be taxing the companies for every job they replace with ai and use that to pay for it.
Yup, exactly what I was thinking. They’re no longer under any obligation to make their product easy to use.
