1 day agoThis has also happened to me, and it is really annoying. I’ve been using FastVPN for work-related browsing, and although it works well for simple tasks and has a generally acceptable connection speed, Reddit’s new blocking policy has rendered it all but useless. Additionally, FastVPN’s customer service is a little slow to react, and they occasionally drop connections at the worst times. When you’re merely attempting to browse anonymously without making yet another account everywhere, it gets annoying.
This is exactly why fast vpn for windows usage is spiking - people see these regulations coming and want to protect their privacy. I’ve been using fast vpn for windows for work and general browsing. It’s decent for basic needs and setup was straightforward, but has some annoying issues. The app occasionally crashes requiring restarts, and speeds drop noticeably during peak hours. Customer support took days to respond when I had connection problems. Works fine for bypassing geo-restrictions though. Any UK ban would be disastrous for privacy rights
