I’m an artist of sorts. I make interactive art kind of like games so I want to open a gallery space with a bar where I can have people come and try my experiences.

They are similar to arcade games but they have physical dioramas with transparent screens inside as the game levels. You control your character or whatever the game calls for with your phone. My current iteration uses multiple screens and diorama as well as physical objects for a single experience. Kind of like a Metroidvania style game.

I have so many ideas for larger experiences I could build with all of the stuff I have learned making these crazy games. My goal would be to make an experience that takes about an hour to complete. Similar to an escape room except you’re not locked in a room. Maybe more tiki bar vibes where the scenery of the bar is interactive too.

All of my free time when I’m not working or doing family stuff goes into making the art for these games and it’s hard to then come up with the time and money to get a space and advertise. Plus I have a family to support. So I work full time as a software engineer making someone else’s boring idea. While my fun innovative ideas get less of my attention lol.

I feel my only hope is to get an investor or something but then I have to deal with all that comes with that.

No but if you start with millions and invest it or make interest on it you have a lot more options and opportunities to make more money.

If you start with nothing you are just blocked out of that all together. It’s why I’m having such a hard time starting my own business. I have to pay all my bills so my time goes to that instead of what would actually make me successful.

I really like the big bang theory. I know online everyone hates it but I enjoyed the characters and the story lines. I generally like all of the actors who are in it. It just a silly sitcom. It’s comforting.

I think the big issue people have is that it made nerdy things more mainstream but they already were mainstream. or maybe they felt like it was mocking them in some way but I don’t think that is the case.

Those cheeses pair nicely with the locker room scent. If you were cultured you would know this.

Ok but you aren’t understanding my point they are made to kill things. You can say people use them for sport but they are killing machines and they are more powerful than a normal civilian needs for anything productive. I don’t feel comfortable with you having these guns. You or anyone. Senseless to let children die for that dude. Just give it up already

But can it kill multiple people really fast and do they sell it at Walmart? I know the answer to the first one but I genuinely don’t know if they sell those there. I have seen guns though lol

Interestingly enough that’s mostly in the Northern states I live in the south east and we split all the checks every time we go out. Whenever I go to new York the waiters get all pissy though like it’s some monumental task. They couldn’t even manage to keep their trash in trash cans until recently though so maybe they will catch up one day.

Idk I guess most meals I don’t even use a knife so Im just used to using my right hand. For things like steak yeah I’ll use a knife but the majority of meals I just use a fork to cut it.

This is crazy news to me lol

So they just hold the fork with their non-dominant hand? What about if there is no cutting to do? Do they still just use their left hand with a fork?

We put the more dangerous utensil in our dominant hand so we have more control. You all don’t do that? Lol

I called in sick today so I could skip all the meetings lol

Maybe they should be asking themselves the same questions if they are just ignoring most of the candidates because they are too lazy to get a pdf reader. I’m sure they aren’t getting the best people with that approach.

The problem is they expect everyone to jump through hoops for them as if all the candidates are the same and they just need to pick one.

That place is bad ass I wish I could go! I follow them on Instagram they have a working miniature airport with planes that take off.
