They all just do the same exact predictable thing. It’s always the shittiest thing for everyone but the “share holders”. Just automate them away and call it a day at this point.

Not all AI code is so obvious though. Especially if you give it detailed instructions on what to do exactly. It could be very hard to tell in some cases

We had some super old code in our company monorepo that was written by someone who became the CTO, there was a comment forbidding people from writing private methods in the code base because “we aren’t babies”. It explained so much about the awful code and why everything was crazy.

It’s funny because I learned to program with strongly types languages and when I moved over to JavaScript I always complained about it for the longest time but now that I use mostly typescript at work I kind of miss some of the old JavaScript patterns and their flexibility. But for working with large teams or large projects in general it’s nice to have typescript

I have a bunch of mini Linux computers too and they have mostly normal buttons but they are tiny. Probably too tiny for toes.

It’s easier than ever to make your own website. You could vibe code one up super fast and throw up some images or videos.

Getting people to see the stuff you make is the major hurdle. These platforms have that benefit because everyone is already there.

Not to mention if you were able to get traffic to your site it probably won’t scale well lol.

That being said you should all be making web sites! Things were better when there were more places to go
