No, I don’t think he’s to the left of Nutomic, which makes my reaction to his faults all the more violent because I expect better of him. And saying I know Rimu personally would be an exaggeration (else, I would have known about his crass accusations of organ farming), but I know enough about him to believe he’s not a plague rat or a transphobe. By itself, that was enough to make me see Piefed as a good alternative to Lemmy.

No, no, nothing as sinister. In french, my mother tongue, Iranian is called “persan”, and DeepL calls the language “persian”, so, both things led me to that blunder. No malice, only stupidity.
