Surprisingly, there are a lot of people who have still never heard of Lemmy on Reddit. I mentioned it in a post about this and got flooded with people asking me what Lemmy is and how to sign up.

I hope lemmy servers are ready for another population boom.

And apathy is why so many businesses are getting away with anti consumer practices.

I think you’re missing the point that it is working and they are intentionally breaking it.
