OK, als boomer werde ich mich in zukunft daran halten. Ich hatte zwar schon in der vergangenheit kein TikTok und kein Instagram. Mein kleiner kater hatte zwar mal ein Twitter-konto, als Twitter noch ganz neu war. Und das ist jetzt auch schon lange weg.

Aber nicht, weil ich nicht darf. Ich bilde mir ein, dass ich das alles nicht habe, weil ich ein gewissens mass an mediankompetenz besitze.

Of all of these things, i only miss a shared clipboard between Vim and the rest of the system (or vice versa). That would be rad!

Ach, kommt schon, trump ist doch schon ein gesetzterer herr, der sich hin und wieder etwas schroff ausdrückt. Es ist gut möglich, dass altersbedingte herausforderungen manchmal seine wahrnemung beeinträchtigen und er vielleicht nicht weiss oder meint, was er sagt. Wir sollten versuchen, dem kleinen gegenüber ein wenig empathisch und geduldig zu sein. Vielleicht könnte man ihm ab und zu einen keks oder einen schnuller geben, um ihn zu beruhigen?

I think, on a personal Linux desktop, more damage is done by malicious browser extensions than by actual viruses or root kits. So you could classify it as social engineering, maybe.
