Could you share your Emacs config?
I mean, personally, I just use yay in the terminal and if I need to research a package I use the arch wiki or aur website. But this does look promising for people that aren’t used to that or who might be intimidated by a terminal.

Yeah, those Linux fanatics makeing sure that most companies produce computers with Linux pre-installed and have crazy charges for Linux pro subscriptions. Not to mention all of the money that Linus Torvalds has invested in major industries like gaming development, manufacturing, and the military which make it hard for companies to switch away from Linux.
Not to mention all the push from Linux users to have AI and updates that make computers slower and less secure. It’s just so authoritarian. And if you want to run the latest Linux you have to constantly upgrade your hardware
I sure wish there were some outspoken windows users out there.

Remember, Michael Dell (CEO of Dell) was at Trump’s recent dinner for the Saudi Royal Prince (Mohammed bin Salman) who probably ordered the brutal killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
In short, Dell is a MAGA company that is pro authoritarian.
I believe when you say app manager, you mean a package manager GUI. If so, you might like GuiMan

The TM 31-210 manual appeared as an “Easter egg” in the 1995 CGI animated film, Toy Story. In the scene where Woody is trapped under a blue plastic box in Sid’s bedroom, it’s possible to see behind him a document titled “TM 31-210 Improvised Interrogation Handbook”, a clear reference to the actual document.

Remember kids, if you want to look up something that you don’t want the government to know about, don’t use the internet to do it.
Also, LLMs are not the best source for asking about how to make things that explode.

I fear it could be something even more dubious than that.
A marketing campaign for an American company with a foothold in the Whitehouse.

Fake videos and fake comments pushing us to the edge
It’s weird how every investment class is in the green right now. Like when was the last time that happened?

This vulnerability could allow a local attacker to leverage sudo’s -R (–chroot) option to run arbitrary commands as root, even if they are not listed in the sudoers file.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Yeah, most people in china already bring their own. The only time I’ve ever seen it offered for free was in a crazy high end shopping mall.
I give it 2 years before it becomes mandatory.
