I am honoured.
If either of my parents could use a computer it would run linux.
But then I have to do all of their online tasks anyway, so technically they are using linux.
Either slices cut in half or diced and the peanuts whole, in separate dishes. A half mouthful of peanuts followed by a half mouthful of tomato. Never mix the two together before eating! I prefer to use a spoon.
I did it on a humble user account using GNOME disks. Select the USB stick and choose restore image in the menu at the top right.
Fresh tomato and dry roasted peanuts.
Actually I might try it on someone …
That sounds cool. I haven’t tried looking at it that way.
Exactly what I needed to read today. Thank you 👍
Velocity 2x - extremely fun fast paced 2d space shooter & platformer. Is extremely rewarding when you start to get to good at it and learn the levels.
Muramasa Demon Blade/Rebirth - also really fun and satisfying skill-based combat game but with some light RPG elements. What I really love about it though is the sheer vibes. Set in feudal Japan with gorgeous artwork and sound/music. Great fun and a piece of art.
I second Calibre. You can configure it to roll all the articles into a single epub too, so they don’t clutter your ereader. I tested it out recently and it works really well. I haven’t had the discipline to do it yet but I love the idea of connecting to the internet once a week to download content and messages and then going back offline.
What sort of printers do you make your prints with? And do you print directly from GIMP or from something else? I’ve been trying to set up a FOSS printing workflow using Canon giclee printers, which has been mostly successful but I haven’t yet figured out how to print custom sizes on roll paper, only standard sizes on sheet paper.
3.0 is gonna be so good 🦾
Awesome, was that his GIMP masterclass? I’m thinking of doing that one.
I think spending all of it on feeding people who are starving. You could keep a lot of people alive on a million, even if it was just for long enough to give them a second chance on their own. And even if that second chance failed, then at least all of the goodness of those people would have more time to be in the world.
Are you planning to build an aquarium by any chance?
When I’ve thought about this is in the past I’ve concluded that my expectations of Linux are actually higher than Windows or Mac. It’s given me the expectation that if something doesn’t work the way I want it then it will be possible to make it do that, whereas with other operating systems I have been more inclined to just accept a limitation and move on.
OK, I’m guessing that term has some extra baggage around here which I’m not privy to… I spent too many years chopping wood and growing corn, so someone will have to fill me in!
I thought I’d just slip it in and see what happened! I like making things in GIMP as well
Amazing, thank you so much :)
