This is what makes me excited for Linux phones to finally become viable. Every major phone manufacturer is making their UX worse and expanding their hidden spyware for the sake of profits.
Graphene os is great but you can only install it on a Pixel. But they give extended support for older devices which is nice. HOWEVER, people are making Linux builds for even older devices, including the iphone 6. Getting a new phone after 7 years might not be necessary in the future.
AI. Rich people trying to change the law to get richer via shady means is a huge no from me every time.
Good, I think it should be killed.
While I am unmoved, I agree that apple has been acting greedy as per usual in this situation
Switching to Linux is the gift that keeps on giving
Usually pcpartpicker.com because I have an addiction to putting together pc builds that I will never be able to afford
AI accomplishing something useful for once?!
I saw your edit and I’m honestly impressed with the positive shift toward healthy communication and planning to take action on her part.
The letter writing was a good idea, and I read the other replies about him giving distance to her. As for the suggestion of her possibly having autism, I think that’s on her to figure out through her doctor. I wouldn’t outright tell her that.
After a week of writing letters, maybe they could transition to having daily talks about anything on each other’s minds. And being sure to ask “why?”, because some people listen well but never ask questions. It helps both people. Other than that, so long as she carries through with getting to the doctor and communication keeps strong, things will likely work out fine. Definitely make a new post if there’s any huge updates on this
Reedit, is that a copy of Lemmy or something?
If it was as simple as communication issues and her not fully reciprocating in the relationship, that would be one thing. But she’s in clear need of therapy. Unless she’s willing to seek help, she’s slowly sinking them.
Whether or not she is having an affair, which isn’t something there seems to be any concrete proof for, he does seem to be looking for an out. She also seems done. This relationship is already over.
Yet another reason not to use that awful app.
Day 11 of wondering why people don’t just use cases and screen protectors on their phones
Mars is an uninhabitable hellscape that I sincerely hope Musk and his billionaire friends colonize so that they all become one with Martian soil
I mean, you’re likely right and I probably didn’t give it a good enough shot. I just haven’t had the smoothest experience with it. It took me twice as long to make an ugly Resume on libre than the time it took for me to make a decent one on “free” word
I’ve used Libre Office, but unpopular opinion, the formatting sucks. I just pirated word, never paying for that again
Great opportunity to mention Brave is owned by a dipshit right-wing homophobe.
At the moment I just have an old laptop and connect it to my TV via hdmi and installed Parsec on both devices. It’s a nice, free method.
In the future though I do want to look into getting a mini PC and doing essentially the same thing except it could be an individual device for the most part.
I only ever tried using a Roku so I could stream my PC to my smart TV, but it turns out there’s MASSIVE latency. Of course I returned it. If I had to deal with that AND ADS, I would have set that shit on fire
Do Orbic devices* run anything aside from stock android?
