The employees are there because they want the compensation. If it wasn’t about the compensation, and they really just enjoyed performing some given task as a hobby or interest, then they don’t need your business to do it. They can do it at home.

Yeah, if reddit wants to start sending all the people who made its content their fair share then by all means. Doubt they’re gonna make any attempt to do that, though.

Nobody is stopping anyone from requesting the information from users via, say, a form they fill out, or enabling data tracking for a specific user-enabled purpose. The only thing people are advocating against is users’ info being collected without their knowledge, consent, or both. Nobody is losing any freedom.

Or maybe the AI just lies and says it changed the setting and then doesn’t. There’s a ‘delete my data’ button on reddit profiles that is literally a fake button, it wouldn’t even be a new tactic.

It would probably be wiser to focus on healthcare access and nutrition than to make extremely expensive and already large pieces of equipment triple size as standard when alternatives already exist.
