Like if you unlock bootloader on your phone, Widevine degrades to L3 which means you can’t watch HD netflix. If you use Linux, you can’t use L1 which mean you get the SD stuff They’re trying to do the same with PC games. Mandatory secure boot + TPM to encrypt/decrypt the games so it’s harder to crack.
