Just based on his books I’d be really surprised if he was MAGA. He’s got a lot of fun sci-fi ideas, but he also spends a lot of time championing virtues like ingenuity, empathy, and honesty.
That and the asteroid on asteroid action. That is a person who likely isn’t puritanical about sex.
I was also thinking that if Scalzi can write the Interdependency series that contains gender neutral titles (Emperox) and several of the characters is gay/bi, he can’t be maga.
Great Scalzi is not maga, can I continue to read his books or is there some other skeletons?
He has been very active in BlueSky since its early closed beta days. From what I can tell, he seems to be a descent guy.
