Huh, I used to make zines back in the90s, I don’t know I was trans - I was just into computers and music. Welp guess I gotta go buy a new wardrobe
Were you an anarchist? Did you have other options?
Well it was the 90s, I guess you could have made a website if you felt like doing everything at home.
People making their own websites was more of a late 90s thing than whole decade thing, and even then it wasn’t really popular until the last couple of years. A zine would be far easier to distribute for the entire decade, as even when it did pick up late in the decade it wouldn’t be likely to catch on without something printed so people knew it existed.
