I went to restock on my pitstick and I struggled to find it due to the redesign
I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw it as it now looks so damn similar to one of friend’s suits

I… just want unscented deodorant, and the one brand I’ve been buying since high school seems to be trying to kill the unscented line because only one store around me carries it anymore. And none of the other common brands have an unscented variety around.
I guess I’ll switch to the lavender if I have to.
When my dad found out the aftershave he used since high school was being discontinued he bought two cases of it.
That was about 15 years ago and he’s only halfway through the first case.
I’m probably going to inherit a lot of it. Sadly I don’t shave.
Bearded or woman?
Bearded
Couldn’t he just have used isopropyl alcohol?
Didn’t smell right
Life pro tip: Use a block of alum… It’s competely unscented. Just gotta wet it a bit before use.
And lasts for ages. You can also use it to stop bleeding, though it STINGS.
This is what I did back when I shaved.
I didn’t realize it could also function as deodorant or antiperspirant, that’s cool.
Yeah, alum, usually potassium alum, is just a solid block of one of the ingredients used in antiperspirants to plugs up sweat glands to keep you from sweating as much. That’s partially how it works as a styptic - it’s irritating, so blood vessels will contract, but it also just plugs up some of the smallest vessels. Its use was much more common before the widespread adoption of electric razors, even if just as a little styptic pencil.
Yes, I’m one of those hobby shaving people.
Good information, though. Thanks!
Can confirm on both counts.
This stuff is like 3USD, idk if you can get it in the US, but I put it on after showering, before bed, and it works the next day.
spoiler
tysm for sharing that 72h deo
Its not 72h, but it works the next day at least.
I make my own deodorant cream out of cocos oil, starch and soda. It is not an antiperspirant, as it doesn’t plug the pores. The soda (which is the ingredient actually doing the job) slows down the bacteria who live on the skin surface and who digest the sweat and make it stink. So you can still sweat, but don’t stink.
The starch helps absorbing moisture
