    Painful as it is, it’s proof that each Reddit exodus is causing cumulative harm to the company’s bottom line. If it stops being an easy source for search engine indexed answers, the site’s traffic will drop, at least a little bit.

    I hate setting fire to the metaphorical Library of Alexandria, but when it’s been taken over by people who want to hoard that knowledge for profit and a nefarious political agenda, it’s probably for the best to burn as much of it as possible.

      Wished search engines would return Lemmy posts. I suspect they purposely exclude or weight them heavily out. I’m guessing Reddit has done special agreements with them.

        It looks like you can use “site:” on Google. Would that be useful for you at all?
