It’s been a while since I’ve seen it and there’s a LOT to the video but I remember the main argument being that the author of the video, who is Greek, feels that Greek mythology is often white-washed in popular media. Hades appears to be very superficially diverse by making the gods appear to be of various ethnicities, but it’s a very Americanized portrait of diversity with one East-Asian, South-Asian, African, etc. characters and does not really depict any ethnically Greek characters despite there being a lot of diversity within Greece and (of course) despite the fact that most of the gods are supposed to be ethnically Greek. He has a particular gripe with the portrayal of Dionysus being portrayed as South-Asian because in actual Greek myth, Dionysus invaded India; so it’s pretty insensitive for them to portray him as the victims of his mythological conquest.

There was a lot more to it than that and I don’t agree with 100% of what he says, but it’s a really interesting video and I broadly think he makes very good points.
