Maybe you should edit your post to say what that is?

Well, to be fair, if you don’t know what it is, it’s not really useful to know your opinion on the question either.

(I’m being somewhat cheeky here, it would be polite to explain it in the comments at least)

Not everyone has english as primary language, and abbreviations are difficult to know and/or remember.

Google exists dude. It’s also pretty common to the point the average person knows what it is. Also, this is no stupid questions, the point is to not make someone feel stupid for asking questions

A simple search for “TRT” tells me a lot about Turkish public broadcasting. With a bit of effort, you could check Wikipedia, which will lead you to the [disambiguation page for TRT](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRT_(disambiguation)

So no, its not trivial to figure out. And the comments in this thread seem to disagree about it being common knowledge as well.

They are not full of shit. You just fell into American defaultism… Search engines just show what’s relevant in places you live. /languages you use the engine at. Since they live in Turkey or close to it, they recieve the Turkish Broadcasting as the number 1 option for TRT. / don’t use english as their main language.

If I click on their link I get this:

TRT = Testosterone Replacement Therapy. It’s HRT for cis men.

I’d rather cut off my balls. With anesthetic but I not picky.

Finally, an explanation for the acronym! Thank you.

@OP, not everyone knows what TRT is.

Instead of doing TRT I swapped it for estrogen and it was a great idea, I feel a decade younger meow-melt

While I like the northern Californian countryside, my knees are quite weak, so I don’t think I could manage a 274km hike around Lake Tahoe
