I’m pretty sure “bum” can be used as a verb in tea land. If you say you bummed someone, it means you engaged in anal sex with them. Not to be confused with bumming something, which means to cadge.
Bum also means to ask for a handout as well. Particularly if you want someone to give you a cigarette you would say “hey mate, can i bum a fag off you?”
