There is no operating system with either name. The operating systems are called Debian, Arch, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc.

We need a name to collectively refer to them. If we say “Linux” because they share the Linux kernel, ok, but so does eg. Android.

What better name is there to refer to the ones in the above list, but not Android, than “GNU/Linux”?

Aber ich kann nichts Falsches daran sehen, wenn in einem Land weniger von etwas konsumiert wird, was Leute am klaren Denken hindert und manche sogar aggressiv macht. Nicht, dass ich finde, der Staat sollte das aktiv forcieren, aber schlecht ist es nicht, wenn es so oder so passiert!

Honestly the question as asked is unambiguous: “write words in alphabetical order” cannot mean anything else than apple, fox, log, pond, pumpkin, river. If what was provided here were the expected answer, the wording should be “write each of the following words with its letters sorted by alphabetical order”.

If you’re on this sub, this is a good programming exercise for you if you’re interested. I’m sure there are plenty of large lists of words in English, that should provide all the data needed.

Deutsche Staatsbürger sind vor allem auch EU-Bürger und genießen Freizügigkeit in der gesamten Union, evtl. wollen manche von ihnen (jetzt oder später) auch in einem anderen EU-Land leben.

Es ist halt noch immer spottbillig im Vergleich zu allen Alternativen.

I don’t think that is a very helpful talking point either. Replacing workers with machines has been a thing for centuries and isn’t by itself a bad thing.

Using unverified AI for anything actually business critical is a very bad management decision though and any company that does that deserves the consequences. Using AI as replacement for eg. stock photos or video CGI? That is not a bad idea at all.

I’ve never used the terminal on Android for anything serious. I’ve used it, but only for really nerdy things most users will never need.

I usually code in an IDE that tells me whether my code will compile while I am typing it.

But when I write things like PL/SQL, yeah it is definitely an achievement to get it to compile.
