As someone else pointed out, this one will get four major OS updates and up to six years of security patches.
I might consider it for 300€ for the jack alone, I already have a G84 as an “audio phone” when I want to listen to podcasts or movies
I prefer phones with headphone jacks. I had the Poco F5 on my radar for a bit
The issue is finding those used models.
Well, actually I just had a look and found one at 392€. I’m going on vacation tomorrow so can’t look much deeper now, but I might have a closer look when I’m back.
Hm, indeed. I guess I was just lucky with the 888 x)
How good/bad is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3? I had a quick look, seems comparable to the 888+ that I have on my Edge 30 Fusion, which is fast enough for me: https://versus.com/en/qualcomm-snapdragon-6-gen-3-vs-qualcomm-snapdragon-888-plus
The jack is cool, the price is stupid
My G84 starts to age a bit.
The Moto Stylus 2025 looks really good, but unfortunately it’s not available in Europe 😔
One of the phones that still have a jack
Sony 1 VI switched to a standard form factor
Definitely agree with you.
I wanted to give Sony phones a try, just for the 3.5mm jack alone, but the price was just too steep for me.
Thank you, well done!
Thank you @kirk781@discuss.tchncs.de
Audio jack is still better, as someone else said in another comment: https://feddit.uk/post/33629763/19026566
I charge my phone once a day.
I use my jack 3-4 times a day on average.
USB-C ports get damaged over time by excessive unplug/replug in that use case
There’s a reason it’s still the top requested feature in the poll.
the Galaxy S26 series could not only ditch the Plus model, but could also kill the standard model.
Evidence found in an internal One UI 8 build suggests a lineup of the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
That means Samsung may rename the base model to “Pro” and replace the “Plus” model with Edge.
Please don’t make it bigger
At this time, the 3.5mm jack is top with 27%
Great news !
Seems to just be a joke around “Nothing” vs “something”
