If we’re talking PC applications, I have been starting to use Strawberry Music Player a lot more than before for the audio files on my desktop and laptop.
For android, it’s a tie between the 2 most used apps outside of Voyager: Auxio and PipePipe.
Auxio messed up some things a long while ago, causing some of my songs on my SD card that would previously work perfectly in app to be unable to display how much time is left in a song, select specific moments, or even how long the audio file is in a very rare case. But overall just works fine enough for my local music playback needs.
PipePipe is nice enough. If yt Revanced refuses to let me play a video while in “incognito” mode, then I can just boot it up in this NewPipe fork. Also nice for the very niche time I wanna watch a video from NicoNico/NicoDouga ( Japanese video hosting platform ) because the person has the upload on there and no other official way of viewing it.
On a personal level, I don’t like the see through towers or really basically any RGB. I have a keyboard that has RGB and if I could turn it off while also being able to see the keys properly, I would turn it off. It’s currently at the lowest setting I can do it and still see the keys.
Also not a fan of the super fancy schmancy gaming mice because I’m a firm believer trackball mice are superior.
No opinion on gaming headsets other than the ones with the attached mic are stupid looking. Design of headphones and such are slightly less important to me than the sound quality, so I can let some dumb designs slide if the quality is fantastic.
Haven’t been touching my Steam profile a lot recently for games, but I’ve at least been doing some Gemcraft Frostborn Shadows.
Other than that, I actually got back into Sonic Lost Worlds on 3DS. As much as I hate the special stages, one single stage on an unmodded PC version of the game made me realize that movement sucks a little less on the 3DS version.
In other words, I don’t endorse getting the Steam version of you have a 3DS unless you wanna mod it to make the movements less jank. Definitely not a good Sonic game, regardless of device, because of the movement like turning being atrocious.
I absolutely hate cloudflare because they always block me whenever I visit a site while connected to any VPN server on Proton, regardless of country. Even when I’m not connected to a VPN I sometimes have trouble with them deciding my connection is suspicious despite not having anything that should trigger it.
Grunt and probably be dead long before I become an adult.
Good thing one of us caught that.
