“Where do you see yourself in five years?”
“In your position.”
Raised eyebrows
Oh yeah, because when I “acquire” a job my top goal is definitely to maximize someone else’s profit while praying my rent gets covered. Totally reasonable quiz logic, if you’re running a cult that pays in goodwill.
Newsflash, textbook: my primary responsibility is to not starve, not to be a cog in the quarterly earnings machine. If your company thinks otherwise, the correct answer is to unionize, negotiate a living wage, or find an employer who doesn’t treat you like free labor.
Well unfortunately that’s right.
If you don’t deliver value to your boss or shareholders you will be fired or even sued in some cases.
Nobody will fire you because you don’t make enough to feed your family
Which means that your primary concern is earning a living wage, and helping the company profit is a means to that end.
The key word here is responsibility. It didnt ask for your purpose or goal in having a job, but what is your responsibility to your employer when you have a job.
Well it didn’t specify responsibility to your employer so it might as well be my responsibility to earn money
Question 38!? What is this test supposed to be?
some sort of interview prep course i bet.
